Agatharchides’s Description of the Arabian Coast

Can be found at Since one should definitely not trust Steve Rudd for geographical information (see AJaL) (or creationist material, for that matter), I have decided to make comment of Agatharchides here for the benefit of all.

Poseideion is undoubtedly Ras Muhammad, since it is described as being quite close to Palm-Grove (which is Sharm el-Sheikh, the only water source in the area in either the Sinai or Saudi coast), and is described as being Arabia’s innermost recces, and is also the only significant cape making Tiran (Seal/Duck) Island be beyond Palm-Grove. The rest is mere logical deduction.
