Ukromaidan Follows Its Orange Revolution Fate

Poroshenko’s approval rating has declined from 47% in May of last year to 17% now. This is the same approval rating as that of Orange Revolution leader Yushchenko in 2008. Yanukovich’s approval rating never reached that low before the Euromaidan.

In the Central and North regions (which include Kiev), roughly as many Ukrainians approve of Poroshenko now (21%) as approved of Yanukovych (20%) in 2013.

-Ouch. Funny how the supposed Kremlin stooge candidates remain more credible than Western-backed soothsayers. Confidence in the Ukrainan government is near all-time lows. Meanwhile, Putin’s approval rating remains above 80%. How times don’t change.
