  1. 4. Really? I hope not.

Why couldn’t they find a serious adult to interview? Or at least someone who doesn’t talk in strings of cliches. It would have also been nice if they could interview someone who writes in complete sentences and knows how to use English grammar and spelling.

The Alt Right is at a point where it’s getting a lot of attention, and it’s important that people see it brings a set of serious views to the table–ideas that demand to be grappled with in earnest. If people look and all they see is kids who talk about hanging out on 4Chan talking about how Jews are lizard people and black people are monkeys, then Black Lives Matter looks like a sober, legitimate, grown-up movement by comparison and the Alt Right is dead in the water, and Trump might be too by association.

Of course, it’s probably already too late. Somehow, when Hillary brought up the Alt Right, the pundits all did a quick Google search that led them to David Duke, who’s a moron, and to Jared Taylor, who is admirable and intelligent but doesn’t always stay cool under fire the way, say, Steve Sailer or the Derb would. The pundits also confused the Alt Right with the NRx (there’s overlap but they are distinct as well), and so now Alt Right = monarchist neopagans who want a white ethno-state.
