On the map, you see Hillary Clinton won the Wayne County, Michigan, open primary on March 8 with a round 60.0% of the vote. However, Sanders’ performance in non-Detroit Wayne County resembled his performance in the state as a whole -he won 72029 votes; Clinton won 71843. Before I saw the polls, I thought Sanders would naturally win the most votes in the area I lived in, and he did end up doing just that.

There are no Detroit Republicans of note, and they don’t seem to be too different from those in the rest of Wayne County and the State of Michigan.
